Several news sources, including this article from MSN Money, have been saying that now is a great time to buy into real estate. Whether as an investment or as your primary residence, real estate inventory and low interest rates are primed for a buyer’s market in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
Recently on CNBC, even Donald Trump states that “now is the best time to invest” in real estate. Trump also mentions that home owner’s should “contact their bank to negotiate a deal on their mortgage” when facing foreclosure.

I have taken “The Donalds” advise. In the past 3 months I have invested into 2 single family homes; totalling $500,000 plus. In 2-3 years it will be interesting to see my return.

Well good for you Kevin. I think you made a good decision, hopefully you got great deals on them! Next time you buy or sell, give me a call and I’ll save you up to 2% extra when you buy and thousands when you sell. What area did you end up buying in?
