I hate the Location. It is One of the worst possible locations. Yes it may be across the street from the very last yellow line metro stop, but that’s just it. Besides that there is nothing that i could possibly want to waste my time with. I would not ever walk out on on Huntington(which is the street that the condo faces) after dark. The are is very sketchy. The closest businesses are also very sketchy looking. I am not going to bash the amenities that the condo offers, but what can I say? The reason that there are so many is because Kettler (the condo association) probably got a good deal on it. there is really no where you can walk unless you walk up and down the street. behind the condo there is a AMC movie theater, but the interstate divides you and it could be a 10 min walk. to the west and north there is interstate, interstate exits, and interstate construction, to the east there is a high way, witch has no side walks, so really if you like to walk I wouldn’t buy here. I totally regret it. I am not the type of person that likes to drive short distances, or to drive so then i can take a walk. I would look closer to old town witch could also be a 15-20 min walk, but again you are cut off by the interstate and high way. If you are the type of person that does not like to go out side then this is the right place for you. Also you really do not see old town from any condo unit. you can see the George Washington memorial, but not as nice as the advertisement makes you believe, and that monument in the background is photoshoped. If you would like to take a look on the map of the area just do a google map search on Metroview parkway(google can not find midtown ave), Alexandria va 22303, and you will see that its so close to old town but not accessible, unless you take the metro.
